every woman on tumblr should have this on their dash

And every man

Look how nobody’s yelling or arguing or making things into a competition. Look how this is to straight up educate people through a different perspective. Look how effective that makes the message.

A gay teenage fast food worker has filed a complaint after he was forced to wear ‘Gaytard’ on his nametag.
Tyler Brandt, 16, from Yankton, South Dakota, was working in a Taco John’s restaurant earlier this year and said he had a very difficult relationship with his manager.
‘I’ve been very vulnerable and I’ve been allowing him to say things to me that shouldn’t be said, and after a while I was jut worried about being terminated from my position at Taco John’s,’ the teen told KELOLAND News.
One day, the manager allegedly called Brandt into his office and told him he had a special nametag for him to wear.
Instead of his name, however, it was something horrific.
Brandt said: ‘He pulled me into the office and gave me a nametag that read “Gaytard” on it and asked me to wear it.
‘So, I put it on because I didn’t want to upset him and I felt that if I did do anything to upset him, it would cause me to lose my job because he’d be looking for ways to fire me.’
When he tried to remove the nametag, Brandt says his manager forced him to put it back on in full view of customers.
Even though he tried to stay behind the till, so the customers couldn’t see the belittling name, the teen said the manager would still call him ‘Gaylord’.
When he couldn’t take it anymore, he quit his job.
Brandt has now filed a complaint this week with the Equal Employment Opportuinity Commission, the Associated Press reports.
It states Taco John’s of Yankton and Taco John’s International violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
In a statement, Taco John’s CEO Jeff Linville said: ‘At Taco John’s, we believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect.
‘We take any accusation of workplace harassment very seriously. The type of discrimination that reportedly took place recently in the Yankton, South Dakota restaurant is deplorable.’
South Dakota has no laws that protect LGBTI people from discrimination at work.

Guys, I swear I had good intentions starting out.
I was thinking “Man, you know what we need? We need motivational werewolves.  Because really, people area awesome, and don’t know it, and no one would argue with a werewolf trying to motivate you.”
Then I realized “And if a werewolf was dishing out compliments, It would comment on how nice you smelled!”  And this was a good idea.  I plan on redoing this sometime along with some companion pieces.  It’s not the best, but good.   But then everything went wrong when I started drawing, and then, I had the horrible, awful, abysmal thought: “And I could draw it sort of in the style of Lisa Frank.  The art of my childhood.  Yesssssssssss.”   And… and I did this. This happened. I’m sorry.

OMG let me tell you guys a story.
I was out one day and at a coffee shop after running errands prework.
This enormous Super Metal Viking looking Mother fucker who is scowling like he is about to lay waste to Lower Queen Anne walks by me, (I was outside) stops, backs up and stares down at me.
I was feeling like maybe he was about to do something good and then he yelled in this big ass bass voice,
YOU SMELL REALLY NICE AND LOOK PRETTY.
Then stomped away.
I think he was a motivational werewolf because I was feeling gross and ugly and upset that day and that moment made everything okay.
LOL.
Thank you for making this OP and letting me remember.

This is my favorite story ever.

Polish doctor that refused to perform abortion named a “hero”
Dr Bogdan Chazan was visited by an expecting mother (32 weeks into pregnancy), who already had 5 miscarriages before and was worried about her health. It turned out that the fetus had hydrocephalus, undeveloped brain and was missing many bones from its skull. The Doctor refused to perform an abortion and didn’t send the woman to another hospital which could do so (according to polish law, if a doctor doesn’t want to perform an abortion, he has to choose another hospital which will agree to do so). Chazan was named a “local hero” and “true warrior of Jesus in the name of life of the unborn” by many polish politicians and catholic activists. He used conscience clause as an excuse for his actions.
The woman gave birth to the child through a C-section. She and her husband spent 10 painful days watching their deformed child die a horrible death. When she finally decided to speak out, she said:
“During these 10 days, no priest, no pro life activist or even dr Chazan came to see the child, to ask if they can help. It was really hard to look at our child. We knew what was coming, but it was still very hard to cope with”
Congratulations, pro-lifers - another “life” saved, another “happy” child and “happy” family.
